Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Associate position supports the entire sales team and is responsible to evangelize the "Veritas" Mission Statement and the "Why" about our solutions through proactively promoting conversations to develop interest that create qualified leads, develop greater industry awareness, and grow existing relationships. The focus of this position is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of Veritas' company goals. Initiative, coupled with a competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this position. This inside position will actively follow new construction, to then develop interest from Consultants, Architects and Designers (CAD’s), Construction Managers, Healthcare/Hospital Networks and OEM’s using excellent sales and communication skills. Another aspect of this position is to update the CRM system (NetSuite) with leads/opportunities, and to coordinate next steps with Regional Sales Managers. ACTIVITY - Sales Support:

  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities. Veritas is a Global Provider of Solutions.
  • Use existing company relationships, industry contacts, and new project information to promote a Veritas value proposition to gain acceptance for further solution next steps.
  • Follow up and further conversations from company initiatives that provide marketing qualified leads, such as trades shows.
  • Assist in promoting effective SEO and other lead generation tools that can garner company growth initiatives to its sales funnel.
  • Develop effective customer relationship management to support clear and timely reporting, effective time management and lead contact follow up.
  • Understand and visualize shielding solutions in conjunction with new building designs and existing facilities, and communicate our requirements and how our solution might fit.
  • Provide potential customer information to sales team and help to create a collaborative solution to meet potential project requirements.
  • Evangelize the "Veritas" Mission Statement and the "Why" about our solutions through energizing presentations that solicit positive feedback and a "Can Do" attitude.
  • Submit weekly prospect and activity reports.

ACTIVITY - Education of Veritas Solutions:

  • Understand the features and benefits of all product and solution offerings and how to communicate to all levels.
  • Act as a Branding Representative, creating a broader view of Veritas capabilities within the Medical Oncology and Industrial High Energy Shielding marketplace.
  • Assist in the development of customer facing literature and tools to best promote and support lead generation efforts.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, while also promoting communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Participate in trade shows, events and any other activities defined and required by management.
  • Focus on assigned activities and goals.

ACTIVITY - Team Veritas:

  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings.
  • Support cross functional team initiatives.
  • Close communication with all Sales Team members.
  • Serve as brand ambassador of Veritas.
  • Participate in Veritas CARES events when possible.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities; give and welcome feedback, contribute to building positive team spirit; put success of team above own interests.
  • Willingness to perform any and all duties as assigned by leadership to support the team; respectful attitude and professional approach to leadership decisions.

Required Skills:

  • 3 years required of successful value-based sales, with a history to exceeding quota’s and goals. Experience within construction, design or proactive inside selling is desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or experience in related field.
  • Outgoing, people oriented, persuasive individual who likes to lead the conversation, manage multiple priorities, and take the Initiative in your daily work.
  • Competitive, positive response to pressure and utilizes a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; Able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully (written and oral) with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic, and analytical skills; ability to be innovative and creative in problem solving with a focus on achieving results.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Continually required to sit, hear, talk and utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and bend. Occasionally required to stoop or kneel.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
